Personal history with South Africa and France
I have discovered South Africa during my end-of-studies internship from January till July 2018. I have done as much as I could to meet locals and had a very good experience there. I have a critical skills visa and am in South Africa from the 11th of January.
Current company
Professional Background
Three internships since 2016:
4 months from June till September 2016, in Claix, France, on a Cognac-producing estate. I was working there as a Communication, Events and Marketing trainee. Creating visuals, short ads and online content, I was also contacting local stakeholders to make sure the estate was well advertised in its very viscinity. On top of that, I managed an event bringing together musicians and a public in the cellars, making sure everything went smoothly for the guests as well as the musicians. Finally, I guided tours in French and English.
One year after, I decided to go to Germany and work as a Business Development Intern for an online organic wine retailer next to Stuttgart, from June to September 2017. This internship was mostly dedicated to uplifting a tiny business. By translating the entirety of the website and by enhancing the visual codes and logos used by the company, I increased its visibility towards potential customers and made it available to the French market.
Most importantly, my latest internship which took place in Cape Town from January to July 2018 in a wine exporting company. There, I made sure the company had proper visuals and brochures to offer potential prospects. On top of their two original services, I added a bulk wine category and kickstarted their presence on this market by making sure that most south african wineries were on a offer/demand list.
Interests in life
Social actions, new technologies, travelling, sports (swimming, hiking, climbing), languages and culture (history and philosophy). Otherwise, I am mostly curious about everything.
