- Cape Town:Assistant B2B Sales Manager - SA Travellers

South African Travellers www.satravellers.com is an Inbound Tour Operator selling holiday packages in South Africa, Namibia and Mozambique to French-speaking clients (B2C and B2B).

We are currently seeking a Sales Trainee- Assistant B2B Sales Manager to join our vibrant and talented sales team.

The role will cover a broad range of responsibilities which will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

  • support the team to develop its new group and incentives division and assist the B2B commercial team in the day-to-day operations of the B2B business.
  • verifying itineraries,
  • liaising with accommodation partners,
  • handling & confirming bookings,
  • maintaining & creating databases,
  • finding and listing new accommodation partners and suppliers,
  • answering to quotation requests.

Experience required

  • Bachelor degree in Tourism or Commerce is required.

Skills required

  • Decent knowledge of English (spoken and written) for dealing with accommodation partners
  • Native French-speaking for dealing with customers
  • Strong inter-personal & communication skills
  • Customer oriented
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Strong time management skills
  • Passionate about travel and about Africa
  • Autonomous
  • Flexible, open-minded, dynamic, pro-active
  • IT skills (basic knowledge of word & excel)

Position is based in our offices in the city centre of Cape Town.

No remuneration is foreseen.

A minimum of 5-6 months traineeship is required.
