Join us to discuss with Jerome Touze, 36,the Co-founder of WAYN.com (Where Are You Now?) the following points: 

  •  ‘story’: starting with very little seed capital to then raising Series A and exiting.
  • viral marketing / the viral coefficient multiplier / how to provide Return on Investment metrics when thinking of Social Media ?
  • the future of WAYN  / Lessons learnt (dos and don’t)

With over 23.5 million members worldwide, WAYN.com is the largest travelling social community online with members in 193 countries. WAYN allows users to discover where to travel to next and share experiences with others and generates over 50,000 travel opinions daily and over 50 million visitors every year. The platform grows by over 2,000 subscribers daily.

Jerome was an Enterprising Young Brits Finalist; a Young Gun class of 2007 according to Growing Business Magazine and Commended for Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 at the UK Technology Innovation and Growth Awards. Jerome was also a finalist at the Ernst & Young London Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. He also sits on various advisory boards and was recently appointed as Education Officer for the Young Presidents Organization (YPO)

Prior to founding WAYN.com, Jerome was a Consultant in Telecommunications and High Tech at Accenture, working primarily on CRM solutions for major accounts such as British Telecommunications and Microsoft. He holds a BA Hons in European Management from Kedge Business and a BA Hons in Business & Finance from the University of Westminster, London. He loves travelling, Rugby and has a passion for Classical music. Jerome now lives in the Winelands with his wife and son and a very large German Shepherd
