 DEKKA is a Cape Town based specialised advisory and consulting group that focuses on advising public and private companies, family offices and high net worth individuals on complex commercial transactions and the management of the human capital that drives the successful outcome and sustainability of these transactions. Within the group, Dekka Consulting is focussed on all aspects of labour law and human relations management.

Pieter holds a Master’s Degree in French and German Business Law, jointly offered by the Universities of Cologne, Germany and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, France and is currently pursuing an LL.M in Tax Law at the University of Cape Town. Apart from the labour law practice, Pieter is also accredited for sworn translation (FR-EN and EN-FR) and is in the process of swearing in at the High Court of South Africa.

Johani holds an LLB (Hons) from King’s College London, and two Master’s degrees from the University of Strasbourg, France – the first in French Commercial law, and the second in Banking and Finance law. She is a dual citizen of South Africa and Canada, and is currently completing an LL.M at the University of Cape Town, focusing on Intellectual Property Law.
